We had hardly managed to say goodbye to the youth group from Vladimir when Elena Gus'kova, the chairperson of the Euroclub, came to Jena together with pupils and students. This group spent the time from 29.04 to 01.05 in Jena. A guided tour of the city and an introduction to German culture were organised for them. The excursion was organised by the volunteers and the director of the EuroWerkstatt Jena e.V., Ivan Nizovzev. The Russian guests brought the German young people sweet gifts from their home country. They hope for further cooperation between the twin towns and look forward to German guests in Vladimir.

This trip ran under the motto "Partnership - that is our future" and took place as part of the events of the German-Russian Year of Local and Regional Partnerships 2017/2018 (http://www.russlandpartner.de/). The project was carried out by the Waldimir Euroclub and its partner organisations in Jena, the EuroWerkstatt e.V. and the ÜAG GmbH Jena, with the help of the Jena city administration.
