European Solidarity Corps
What is The European Solidarity Corps
Solidarity is one of the fundamental values of the European Union. The European Solidarity Corp offers a great opportunity for young people to go abroad and volunteer for a social and diverse Europe. You can do this, for example, as a volunteer or through jobs and internships or with your own initiatives.
Unlike many programmes abroad, participation in the ESK does not cost anything, nor are there any specific selection criteria such as qualifications, experience or experience in the field.
Interested in participating in the ESK?
The ESK gives you the opportunity to live, learn and work in another European country. In this way, you can broaden your personal and professional horizons and contribute to better understanding within Europe.
You must be between 18 and 30 years old. Your school-leaving or professional qualifications are not important. If you need a special support if you are blind, deaf or in a wheelchair, this will also be financed!
You take part in a language course, work in a non-profit project of your choice and receive pocket money, food allowance and accommodation.
Your travel expenses will be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis, you will be covered by health and accident insurance and will continue to receive your child benefit.
As your broadcasting organisation, we support you every step of the way: We will inform you about the basics, support you in your search for a suitable project abroad and prepare you for your service abroad!
