Application

Eurowerkstatt Jena has broad experience in organising and leading international projects. We welcome participants and volunteers from European countries as a coordinating organisation or hosting project. Eurowerkstatt has a big network of hosting projects in Jena and coordinates the application process, the prearrangement and the mentoring of the volunteers. We provide a complete program for the volunteers that includes the accommodation, intercultural seminars and trainings, linguistic courses, different workshops and a lot of social activities.

You can apply now to become a volunteer in Jena!
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at one of our hosting projects from Septemer 2020 until the end of August 2021, you can apply now until the 15th of April!

Please follow these steps of our application process:

  1. Please download our application form in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish or Russian and fill it in.
  2. Please register to the European Youth Portal of the European Solidarity Corps, because we need your registration number for the application.
  3. Take a picture of your passport and send it together with your application form to hosting@eurowerkstatt-jena.de

Please don’t send us applications without our application form or without a picture of your passport, thank you!

How to find a sending organisation

Please keep in mind that you will need a sending organisation if you will be picked as a volunteer. Start to contact organisations soon, so they can help you with writing your applications. You can search for organisations in your town or country here.

How we will continue

After the 15th of April, we will transfer your applications to our hosting projects. Our colleagues in these organisations will have a close look at your applications and will contact you in May to have a skype call. In the end, they will be the ones to decide who will become the new volunteer in their hosting project, not Eurowerkstatt.
